The BEMER is a lightweight blanket that adjusts to fit any size horse from the pony to the draft horse. It has a cordless battery pack that allows for safe operation in the horses stall or paddock. The BEMER session also included the use of the horse cuff that can be placed on the legs or neck as an addition to the blanket. This is extremely useful if your horse has a tendon injury. Tendons have very little blood flow compared to the parts of the horses body that contain more muscles. Because of this the healing time in tendon injuries is greatly extended compared to other injuries. Because the BEMER increases the microcirculation is increases the healthy blood flow to the tendons it can assist in facilitating an increased healing time. Sessions can range from 5 minutes to 15 minutes and double sessions can also be done.
The BEMER promotes healing and recovery and supports regeneration. It enhances suppleness – a prerequisite for motivation and willingness to learn – so your horse can exercise more effectively. The BEMER also helps your horse relax more easily both before and after exercise. You’ll notice the effects on your horse after only a few minutes of application.
